I would like to congradulate the new members of the Wii Trooper Staff. I have chosen these candidates because I trust that they will make a responsible effort to keep our site updated and organized. Many of them have already been taking a leading role in their respective games, and now they have the full power to do what they can to truly help their fellow members out.
I have added two new moderators, and also created a new staff section known as "Quality Control." Allow me to explain the difference between the two.
Moderators have the ability to edit, delete, and lock all posts and threads accross the website. They are responsible for all sections not releated to a specific game.
The Quality Control Staff only has the ability to moderate their specific gaming forums. These include the application section and clan challenge threads.
I want to stress that I have not instated this staff to control the website. They are not here to end arguments or threaten users. They are not here to exercise their powers upon the innocent. I will strip all privileges at the first signs of this without warning.
Quality Control Staff Responsibilities:
1. The staff is here to ensure that all official WT threads (such as member lists, application forms, outsider clan challenge instructions, etc, war records), are kept professional and up to date.
2. The staff is here to ensure that non-WT spammers or trolls are reported in a timely manner. They have every right to delete malicious posts.
3. The staff is here to act as a public relations representative for their respective games. For instance, if a clan challenges us, they reply with proper instructions and rules. Also, if a new registrant shows interest in applying, the staff is our 100% gaurantee that their voice is heard and receive a proper welcome. Quality Control Staff DOES NOT force their decisions upon their members. They make polls and the members vote, unless the issue is common and a poll is clearly not needed.
4. In monitoring and maintaining the forums, the staff will be informed of all the news/happenings/drama with their respective game. It is their responsibility to bring any important issues to the Members Only section for proper debate. Members are encouraged to speak with their staff members about problems or concerns. Rather than have a poorly written post about a small issue, your staff member can combine several issues into a well written post for a more organized and healthy discussion. They are here to serve you, NOT to control you.
Moderators have the ability to mingle in any game they choose, and they basically oversee the website's operations. They are also directly responsible for all non-game-specific forums, such as "Off-Topic." The moderators are not listed in the games below, however, they will be very active in assisting the Quality Control staff.
Also note, I am considering 1-2 more staff members in games where we need the help. Quality Control Staff should not feel alone. They have the moderators and admins also helping out. They can also ask members for favors. Members: Never be afraid to volunteer to help!
I repeat, at the first signs of power abuse, their powers will be revoked if neccessary. I make backups of our forums every week, so if anything goes to hell, it is not the end of the world.
Decisions were made based on the amount of work, knowledge, and experience each member has in clan operations. I also chose members that I believe do not clearly favor certain players over others. They are largely unbias and have proven, through time, that they believe in the WT way, and will do what it takes to get us back to a new golden era.
Thank you, and I hope you will congradulate them and share the same excitement I have for some positive change.

Things are starting to take off again here at WT! With the release of a new competitive game, a lot of players are back and thirsting for blood.
Hence, I am here to announce WT Cool Winter Nights.
Two nights a week, wtclan.com will be the place to be.
We will be having COD5 practice, along with WT (and friends) only Brawl tournaments.
It is important our Brawl division regroups, and we start jingle jangling around the community. Our national tournament in June is still being designed, I have a second conference call with the NVGA this weekend. I have many key players on board, that I am not going to yet make public. I want our Brawl division to get amped and get to know each other very well so we can make this tournament a success and make ourselves famous.
WT Cool Winter Nights will be:
Mondays and Thursdays.
Brawl tournaments will be starting at 4pm pacific / 7 eastern
COD5 practice will be starting at 8pm pacific / 11pm eastern
Tournaments will have a 32 player cap. The first Monday tournament will be singles, and Thursday is doubles, then every week we will alternate in case someone can not make a certain day. WT members receive priority registration. Non WT can join the tournaments if there are remaining spots.
The first Cool Winter Night will be this Monday, the 17th of November
I want to see our chat rooms PACKED on these nights, so that if I invite an online sponsor to check out our community, they can see what type of following we have.
Also weekends are a great time to come and get some games in.
So get your egg nog, fill your stockings, and stuff your turkies, its game time at WTCLAN. ...
