Pre-War requirements

From now on the following tasks must be completed before we send any team into war. These things should be discussed in our chatbox at LEAST 20 minutes before the war is to start. I have been startled by the lack of even the most basic preparation before our wars start. This is not MoH. We do not know the war plans like the back of our hand. We can rely on basic skill to beat mediocre clans, but we will lose to good ones without preparation.

1) Go over all the rules that have been agreed upon. We do NOT want to take a forfeit because we used a flamethrower when we were not supposed to. Make SURE that the host knows the appropriate settings

2) Discuss/decide what maps will be played AND what side we are starting on

3) Make sure that everybody is familiar with the war plan for the maps we will be playing. If we do not have 4 people that have watched our videos, then do not accept a war.

4) Specifically assign each person in the war their role as either 1, 2, 3, or 4. Make sure they know what responsibilities, weapons, and map positioning that are associated with their role.

Guys, we have to be on the same page here. Our war plans are useless if they are not implemented properly. And if we begin a war with no clue what is going on, their is no chance we will be using good strategy. Everyone will be running around doing their own thing. This may win some matches, but not against good teams.

RE: Pre-War requirements

Great point JTR -

With the Euro dudes i do want us to replicate a successful formula and eventually add to it maybe..

But consistency is key for me - especially since we are far off in the land of style and coolness...Cool

But i think that if we play together as mentioned in random games and invite each other - we can still implement and play with the strategy in noob games and random TDMs when we are in agroup..

this can only make us stronger...

RE: Pre-War requirements

If people do not begin picking up the plans soon, and learning to play responsibly, the teams will be restructured

RE: Pre-War requirements

I've watched all the videos, but as of yet I haven't had the chance to actually go through a practice round actually implementing it. The only one that I am a little foggy on is Castle but I would watch it right before a match to make sure I have my position memorized.

I have also started to try and sick back more and be pure defense since thats what most ppl said I was good at. I miss running and gunning, but I am finidng that using Extreme Conditioning gives me a great chance to cover tons of groudn while defending my teammates from various sneak attacks.
