Game: The conduit

When: July 18th; 1pm pac, 4pm est, 3pm central, 2pm mountain.

Format:
5 on 5 deathmatch (rounds and settings tbd based on participation level, available game settings, and anythign else applicable that isn't currently forseeable), matchups and byes made at random as needed, single elimination, draw resolution tbd.

Entry Requirements:
Each team must submit a minimum of 10 valid unique organization links (i.e. not already posted on outcastoutreach.com and contributes to people with socialization relate social needs). Links may be for organizations from anywhere in the world and covering any amount of area big or small. In the event of valid matching submissions (that have not yet been posted), partial credit will be given via an even split. Outside help gathering links is alloowed and encouraged. This is a great opportunit for clans (wt as well as others) to be able to support their fellow members even if they won't be playing the current game. Links are to be email to outcastoutreach@outcastoutreach.com. I will give a short response to verify receipt of your email. Please post any questions here.

The PRIZES:

Each member of the winning team receives $20. Each member of the runner up receives $10. Each member of the team providing the most usable links gets $10 (The winning team and runner up team are excluded from this prize).

What types of organizations are eligable?

"What types of organizations are eligable? "

Any organization that provides socialization to those who don't otherwise have that form of socialization. For example, Trey's house in San Antonio provides a place for people with brain injuries to hang out and make freinds. Any place helping people who have freinds but don't feel comfortable discussing serious issues with them would also apply. Basically anything that provides a place to talk where one does not exist. Who they do and don't serve doesn't matter (i.e. PACE which only serves elderly, acceptable link). It also doesn't matter what additional services they do or don't provide. It must be a genuine socialization need being genuininely met, not romance or disingenuine company provided for money, etc.

An example of a suggested organization I didn't use is Catholic Family Charities (sp/correctname?). The majority of their impact is financial. They can help prevent homelessness and the splitting of families, but do not do anything for those with an existing socialization need.

I hope that cleared it up, if not please ask more questions.
