Hello General Public and fellow Wii Troopers!

It is now July 2010 and we have had many exciting developments this year. Aside from maintaining our undefeated status, we are currently in talks in RedBull and Dominos Pizza regarding full team sponsorships. We will have more information by October, as each company is consulting their marketing teams.

WT remains the Wii's top ranked multi-game competitive organization. We continue to wait for another great game on the Wii. Some players are filling time by flirting with other systems. I encourage our players to do this as well, as it is essential to keep the mind active. Playing other systems can also help you approach Wii games from a brand new angle.

Remember, any WT members or WT fans traveling through the Los Angeles area should contact me so we can arrange a WT convention. I, along with other local WT members, will be more than willing to sign your Nintendo games and memorabilia.

Also, as you may have noticed, our forums have been swamped with new members and posts. Activity is definitely on the rise. If you are a new member, remember to post an Introduction topic so our WT legends can meet and greet you.

WT in Negotiation with T141

Good day gentlman,
I would like to inform you that our Modern Warfare ps3 Division is negotiating terms for competitive gaming with moymangos T141 squad. The best way to describe the pact is that we are Guns for hire. The terms are simple. We hold our squad under the WT umbrella with association to T141. We will gain bodies to assist us in organized game-play and they will receive a great marketing tool.

I myself have limited to play only on the weekends which is very manageable giving the traffic that will be present at what moymango has projected. Gp is also helping out with his 2.27 k/d ratio. Public games are becoming pushovers and there is no doubt Gamebattles will add shelf life to the game. If you own a ps3 and you are interested in this set up please contact me or may. remember that WT will be one of many squads in this pact so if you don't make it to WT you will definitely be able to try other squads. Our standards will never change in terms of great gameplay and I am proud to announce another attempt and getting a old powerhouse running again. please be available for at least 2 hours on the weekend and have a k/d no less then 1.10 Since Gp and I are pacific time we will be pacific time friendly. This does not mean that east coast is not takin in consideration it just means look for games around 9 your time on sunday.

OFFICIAL WT CONDUIT STATEMENT

Hello, and welcome to the Wii Troopers website.

At the time of this post, Conduit is only a few days away. Everyone in the Wii community is pretty excited about its release. It is expected to be the best Wii FPS to date, and possibly the best Wii game to date. However, only time will tell.

WT plans on approaching the Conduit in a very aggressive manner. Not only will be be looking for a quick start in metagame and teamwork development, but we will also be massively advertising our website, much like after the release of previous multiplayer games.

For now, we plan on having one, VERY STRONG, competitive team. We will design the team so that it is balanced, and roughly double the size the Conduit permits (6 players per team in-game, so 12 members on team total). We will be selecting only the best players for this team. Each member will be highly skilled, and willing to work on advanced teamwork techniques. By having a large team size, we will be able to have wars more frequently.

Upon the day of release, we will be accepting applications for our Conduit team. Do not, however, expect a quick decision. It will take time for us to figure out what defines "good." If you are doing good in the first 3 days, it may not mean you will be good in 3 weeks. If you have an interest in getting on our team, I highly recommend you show some initiative and be very active during the first 2 weeks. Show up for scheduled team games, and start dialogue about how to pursue the game competitively. In the beginning, we will be looking for focused individuals over raw talent.

This being said, the application for the Conduit team is now available in the "Join Wii Troopers" section of the forums. Please make yourselves fully aware of the application process.

Upon the games release, please join us in our chatroom to join up with us in public and private matches. If you have any trouble accessing our chatroom, please reinstall java from java.com. Game: The conduit

When: July 18th; 1pm pac, 4pm est, 3pm central, 2pm mountain.

Format:
5 on 5 deathmatch (rounds and settings tbd based on participation level, available game settings, and anythign else applicable that isn't currently forseeable), matchups and byes made at random as needed, single elimination, draw resolution tbd.

Entry Requirements:
Each team must submit a minimum of 10 valid unique organization links (i.e. not already posted on outcastoutreach.com and contributes to people with socialization relate social needs). Links may be for organizations from anywhere in the world and covering any amount of area big or small. In the event of valid matching submissions (that have not yet been posted), partial credit will be given via an even split. Outside help gathering links is alloowed and encouraged. This is a great opportunit for clans (wt as well as others) to be able to support their fellow members even if they won't be playing the current game. Links are to be email to outcastoutreach@outcastoutreach.com. I will give a short response to verify receipt of your email. Please post any questions here.

The PRIZES:

Each member of the winning team receives $20. Each member of the runner up receives $10. Each member of the team providing the most usable links gets $10 (The winning team and runner up team are excluded from this prize).

I will be needing help for organizing and moderating the upcoming tournament for the conduit. I've been involved with clans for the past 10 years and I know what it takes to run a highly organized clan and organization. My requirements are strict and demanding. Once the tournament is over I will continue to have more tournaments and a website dedicating it self to tournaments with prizes all revolving around the conduit.

Requirements
You have to be at least 18 years old, no exceptions
Must have at least 1 year of competitive online experience
knowledge of the gaming industry is a plus
Easy going, mature attitude
Able to take orders and follow them without procrastination
knowledge of the wii gaming community a plus
web design a plus
programming a plus

But most important I need someone with ambition and determination. This is something that will be a work in progress for the next year and I need someone who will follow through with me for a year. I will only be taking a couple of people on this journey so I need the best of the best. Thanks for reading and to apply just reply to this post.

Prize Conduit Tournament!

Hello Wii troopers!

Now some of you know me and some of you don't either way I'm here to announce a Cash prize tournament for the release of the Conduit!
Now once the release date gets closer I will release more details on the rules and how to register for the tournament.

The prize will be a minimum of 100$ towards the winner. The prize will go up according the the number of entries. Anything past 50 entries I will add 2$ per player. In Example if we get 100 entries for the tournament then the Total prize will be 200$

Just as it sounds We are starting a New chapter. Like the old testament however blood sweat and tears will not be in vain. So you guys didn't see bugs Thread as nothing but a recap of what was stated earlier so they sent in some big dogs. Well let me keep this short and simple

WT IS STARTING OVER

Did your heart drop? Are you instantly enraged? Are you reaffirming to yourself that WT's have came to an end? Most of these emotions can be related to how you once felt before you were in WT.

Every blue tag will be removed. This does not include the Admins staff. BCE *Before Current Era* will be refereed to as this time period. Blue tags are for those who compete in an online game that we are supporting. If You don't play competitively then you don't have a blue tag. You must see the logic in this.. WT EURO is a competitive group. mscbay is in review of being seen as an outsourced competitive group. These are subject to exemption because they play COMPETITIVELY as we speak.

Now some of you are furious. You are sayin I have been here before 95% of these people I worked hard to get where I am at and I'll be damned If I'm going to be kicked out of wt. I invested my life's energy here. So with this in consideration members who have been enrolled prior to January 31 2009 Will receive HONORARY TAGS. These tags will confirm that you have stars and stripes. However if a meeting comes up for future games access will ONLY be granted to those who wear the BLUE TAGS.

So you have been here since February and you feel that even though you are new that you dedicated a lot of time in cod. It is unfair to take your tag because you just found out about the clan during the release of COD. Well bug has requested RECONSTRUCTION of the CoD section. 10 CoD Individuals will be given the chance to prove we are still the best wifi clan. It doesn't matter if you were on wtA b c f h or 2eZ, or even if you were on neither and just a bench warmer. If you want in the Cod section then attend the scheduled tryout to be posted later. The mkwii Is not active but it is in the progress of being rebuilt.

Many aspects of the new system will also be implemented such as mandatory tryouts, big dog eat little dog system in which players will take captain positions based on skill and quick 10 minute meetings every week.

If you think WT is dead, or If you have needed an excuse to leave or if you just don't like the way this is going then please by all means QUIT. you don't have to make your resignation a bigger deal then it is. save yourself the effort and us the time.
